Aston Villa faced off against Young Boys at the Wankdorf Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to secure a positive result in the UEFA Champions League. The Villans made a good start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 27th minute when Youri Tielemans got his name on the scoresheet. Jacob Ramsey doubled his team’s lead just 11 minutes later as the West Midlands club went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.
Amadou Onana scored another goal for Unai Emery’s side in the 86th minute as Aston Villa cruised to an impressive 3-0 win away from home.

Onana was a positive influence at both ends of the field and scored Aston Villa’s third goal late in the game.

He ran the show in the opponent’s half and was responsible for scoring the opener in the 27th minute. Tielemans has also got an assist to his name.
RW: John McGinn – 7.5/10
McGinn worked his socks off on the right flank and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
CAM: Morgan Rogers – 7.5/10
He caused a lot of problems for the opposition defenders with his running and creativity. However, there was no goal for him.

Ramsey was a constant menace in the final third and did well to get his name on the scoresheet in the 38th minute.
