Manchester City welcomed Brentford at the Etihad Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a positive result at home in the Premier League. The Mancunian giants made a sloppy start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the first minute when Yoane Wissa found the back of the net. However, Man City equalised in the 19th minute thanks to Erling Haaland’s effort. Haaland scored again for the home team just 13 minutes later as Pep Guardiola‘s men went into the half-time break 2-1 up on the scoreline.
The Mancunian outfit controlled the game well in the second half and managed to secure a narrow 2-1 win at the Etihad.
Let’s take a look at how each Manchester City player performed during the match against the Bees.

The Brazilian goalie made a few solid saves at the back but won’t be pleased about conceding such an early goal. He even picked up an assist for Haaland’s second goal.

Walker got stuck in with some crunching tackles and made one good chance going forward.

He caught the eye at times in the first half and was substituted at half-time.
