Tottenham Hotspur clashed heads with Newcastle United at St. James’ Park earlier today as they focused on securing a win on the road in the Premier League. Spurs made a decent start to the game but conceded the opening goal in the 37th minute when Harvey Barnes scored with a good strike. Angelos Postecoglu’s players failed to find a response and went into the half-time interval 1-0 down on the scoreline.
Spurs got themselves level thanks to an own goal from Dan Burn in the 56th minute. However, Alexander Isak scored the winner for the Magpies in the 78th minute as the North London club suffered a tough 2-1 loss away from home.
