Everton will entertain Bournemouth at Goodison Park this Saturday as they hope to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Toffees managed to earn a 3-0 win over Doncaster Rovers in midweek which should give them some confidence ahead of this league clash.
Sean Dyche will opt for the 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to revert to his strongest XI for this game. Dominic Calvert-Lewin will get a chance to play from the start of this Premier League contest while Beto makes way for him and drops to the bench.
4-2-3-1 Everton Predicted Lineup To Face Bournemouth
Defence
Jordan Pickford will function in goal for the Toffees after keeping a clean sheet in midweek. Michael Keane will operate alongside Jake O’Brien at the centre of the Everton defence as they try to keep the opposition at bay during the game.
Mason Holgate could fill in as the right-back while Vitaliy Mykolenko hopes to impress on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them would have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Seamus Coleman would offer cover for the right-back position on the bench. However, both Nathan Patterson and Jarrad Branthwaite will miss this clash because of injuries.
Midfield
Tim Iroegbunam and Idrissa Gueye will anchor the midfield for the Toffees as they focus on winning the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park. The talented trio of Dwight McNeil, Abdoulaye Doucoure and Jack Harrison will play just ahead of them as part of Dyche’s attack. All three of them need to combine well if they are to cause some problems in and around the opponent’s penalty area.
James Garner and Jesper Lindstrom will have to be content with a spot on the bench as they await their chance to catch the eye in the second 45 minutes if required.
Attack
Dominic Calvert-Lewin will spearhead Dyche’s attack up top. He would be eager to find the back of the net after being rested against Doncaster Rovers in midweek.
Beto will be named on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages of the game if the Toffees are in need of a goal by then.
