Real Madrid will lock horns with Las Palmas at the Gran Canaria Stadium this Thursday night as they look to earn all three points on the road in La Liga. Los Blancos managed to secure a convincing 3-0 win over Real Valladolid recently which should keep them in good spirits ahead of this game.
Carlo Ancelotti will once again opt for the 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to name a strong first team for this game. Luka Modric and Brahim Diaz will both get a chance to play from the start of this contest.
4-2-3-1 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup To Face Las Palmas
Defence
Thibaut Courtois will feature in between the sticks for Los Blancos after keeping a clean sheet in his last league outing. Antonio Rudiger will function alongside Eder Militao at the heart of the Real Madrid backline as they look to keep things solid at the back during the game.
Lucas Vazquez will fill in as the right-back while Ferland Mendy hopes to catch the eye on the other flank as the left-back. Ancelotti would give both of them the license to get forward and express themselves in the Las Palmas half.
Fran Garcia and Dani Carvajal will offer cover for the full-back positions on the bench.
Midfield
Aurelian Tchouameni and Federico Valverde will anchor the midfield for the Madrid giants as they try to establish their dominance over the opposition in the middle of the park. The gifted trio of Vinicius Junior, Luka Modric and Brahim Diaz will play just ahead of them as part of Ancelotti’s attack. All three of them need to combine well if they want to engineer enough chances for Real Madrid to win this clash.
Dani Ceballos will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the second half if needed.
Attack
Kylian Mbappe will lead the line for the Madrid outfit up top. He would be eager to get his name on the scoresheet after failing to do so versus Real Valladolid last weekend.
Endrick would be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if required.
