Chelsea star Pedro has claimed that Diego Costa is the perfect player for Chelsea.
Costa was not included in the match against Leicester but made a thumping return by scoring the opening goal against Hull City. Antonio Conte had a bust-up with the player regarding an injury. Also, the Spaniard reportedly got a huge offer to play in the Chinese Super League.
Costa has been the main reason behind Chelsea’s turnaround this season. The 28-year-old has already netted 15 times this season. Pedro has compared the front man with some of the greatest strikers in the world, with the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Samuel Eto and David Villa and thinks that the player stands in the same category.
“He is a very good striker. I have played with important people, important players like Ibrahimovic.
“Costa is a very good striker too, a very good runner, strong physically and he scores more goals for the team. He is perfect for this team.
“It is difficult, it’s difficult. I’ve played with a lot of players of high quality but Costa is a very good player. Diego is probably the best for this team.”
