Newcastle United will be hoping to make two wins in two games when they take on Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium this weekend. They faced an unexpected challenge in their first Premier League game of the ongoing season, which they managed to overcome.
Eddie Howe’s side suffered a red card in the first half in the form of Fabian Schar. Despite playing with a man less, they clinched the game 1-0 against Southampton. It will surely give the Magpies a lot of confidence before the next clash.
4-3-3 Newcastle United Predicted Lineup Vs Bournemouth
Defence
Nick Pope made a couple of excellent saves to deny Southampton an equaliser. He will be crucial once again between the sticks. Tino Livramento improved as the game progressed and should be again deployed at the right-back position.
Emil Krafth should come into the side in place of Fabian Schar, who will serve a three-match ban. The former will partner up with Dan Burn to form the heart of the defence. Lloyd Kelly is also expected to earn his first start for the Magpies replacing Lewis Hall, who had a dismal performance last week.
Midfield
Eddie Howe might not have any reason to alter anyone in the midfield. Joelinton was outstanding in the middle of the park and also scored the only goal. On the other hand, Sean Longstaff and Bruno Guimaraes also did pretty well to secure three points for their side.
Attack
Jacob Murphy continues on the right flank with Anthony Gordon operating on the other side. However, they both should step up with their game after having a quiet night last time.
Alexander Isak continues to lead the offensive pack. He did well to set up Joelinton for the goal and once again, his contributions will be vital for his side.
