Arsenal will lock horns with Aston Villa at Villa Park this Saturday evening as they look to secure another win in the Premier League. The Gunners managed to earn an impressive 2-0 win against Wolverhampton Wanderers recently, so they would be confident about securing all three points this weekend.
Mikel Arteta will stick with his favoured 4-3-3 formation and is expected to keep changes to a minimum for this game. Hence, Kai Havertz will once again lead the line for the North London outfit in the final third.
4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup To Face Aston Villa
Defence
David Raya will play in between the sticks for the Gunners after keeping a clean sheet in his last league outing. William Saliba will resume his partnership with Gabriel at the centre of the Arsenal defence as they look to keep Ollie Watkins frustrated throughout the game.
Ben White will hope to impress as the right-back while Oleksandr Zinchenko looks to catch the eye on the other flank as the left-back. Arteta would give both of them the license to get forward and offer some support to the Arsenal front players.
Riccardo Calafiori and Jurrien Timber will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Declan Rice, Thomas Partey and Martin Odegaard will make up Arteta’s midfield. All three of them would be eager to retain possession well at the centre of the park and create some decent chances for the Gunners to earn a convincing win at Villa Park this Saturday evening.
Jorginho will be named on the bench as he awaits his chance to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if needed.
Attack
Gabriel Martinelli will keep his spot on the left wing while Bukayo Saka hopes to put in a match-winning display as the right-sided wide player. Kai Havertz will once again spearhead Arteta’s attack down the middle. All three Arsenal frontmen need to be at their best if Arteta wants his side to come away with maximum points from Villa Park.
Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if the London giants are in need of a goal by then.
