In a recent report, Marca claimed that Manchester City have identified Crystal Palace ace Eberechi Eze as a target for this summer transfer window. It has been mentioned that Pep Guardiola’s team are showing interest in recruiting the English playmaker this off-season.
Eze’s Impressive Form In The Premier League Last Season
Eze had a great season at Selhurst Park after he produced a string of impressive displays for the Eagles in the final third. The London-born talent netted 11 goals and picked up six assists in 31 appearances for Crystal Palace in the previous campaign across various competitions.
The 26-year-old was a consistent performer for his team on the offensive end of the field as he averaged 3.1 shots, 2.0 key passes and 2.6 dribbles per game in the Premier League. He even distributed the ball relatively well in the opposition half, based on his pass completion rate of 83.7% in the English top flight (stats via whoscored).
Eze’s current deal at the London club will expire in the summer of 2027. Thus, Man City would have to make a convincing offer if they are serious about signing him before the end of this transfer window.

Eze is a good dribbler with the ball at his feet and can make some dangerous runs with it out on the flanks. He can strike the ball purely and with power from long range.
