Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp has reportedly told Sadio Mane that he could kick him in his lower back, tongue in cheek, of course.
Mane has been with Senegal participating in the AFCON. Senegal defeated Zimbabwe 2-0 with Mane scoring a goal. This is his second goal after as many games as he also scored in the opening match against Tunisia.
With Senegal already guaranteed a place in the quarters, Mane will have to be with his country until at least till 28th January. Klopp who is keeping an eye on the Senegal forward said that he is happy but wants to kick him in the lower back.
Klopp said, “I am happy for you but on the other side I could really kick you in the….lower back.
“They are through which is good. He played again, scored again. I texted him last night but mixed emotions is probably the best description. As long as he is fit then we take it like it is and support Senegal.”
