4-3-3 Newcastle United Predicted Lineup Vs Manchester United
Defence
Martin Dubravka showed great resistance in the previous game. He is operating between the sticks for Newcastle United ahead of Nick Pope, who might need more time to recover fully. It will be a tough call to pick between Tino Livramento and Kieran Trippier for the right full-back position.
No change in the centre-back duo of Emil Krafth and Dan Burn. Both defenders will have to be at their best to keep United’s attackers in check. Lewis Hall gets retained in the lineup for his left-back role.
Midfield
Bruno Guimaraes operates in the middle of the park with the presence of Elliot Anderson and Sean Longstaff. It will be interesting to watch how the trio performs to command the game.
Attack
Jacob Murphy is likely to make way for Miguel Almiron on the right flank. However, Anthony Gordon leads the offensive line while Alexander Isak gets the nod for the left winger role.
Matt Targett (Achilles), Lewis Miley (back), Joe Willock (calf), Jamaal Lascelles (knee), Sandro Tonali (suspension), and Sven Botman (knee) are the confirmed absentees for the Magpies. Fabian Schar has made good progress from a thigh injury but is unlikely to be risked in this game.
