Luke Shaw’s agent has confirmed that the defender is not leaving Manchester United. The left-back has been linked with a move out of the club.
Shaw missed a large part of the season due to injuries. He suffered a horrific double leg break last season which forced him to miss almost an entire year. He had always been the first choice for Jose Mourinho but subsequent injuries and lack of form has forced Mourinho to think otherwise.
It was reported that Mourinho was thinking of offloading him in January. The Portuguese has been using Daley Blind and Matteo Darmian on the left side of the defence.
But Mourinho now has changed his mind and wants to give the teenager another chance who has made only 13 appearances this season. Shaw’s agent Jonathan Barnett has quashed all the rumours, “He is happy at the club. Manchester United are very happy with him and he’s very happy at Manchester United.”
