Arsene Wenger has ruled out a move for West Ham United midfielder Dimitri Payet. The French midfielder has been the most talked about players in England recently.
Payet has been constantly trying to move out from the Hammers. His previous club Marseille had two bid rejected for the player.
The 29-year-old has vowed not to play for the club again and was asked to train with the u-23 side. He even is ready to take a pay cut to play for his former club.
Wenger has earlier praised Payet’s creativity. The French star has been one of the few players who enlighten their performances his term but Wenger has rejected any chances of signing him.
The French gaffer said, “I rate Payet but I don’t need Payet because we have so many creative players,” Wenger said at his pre-match press conference ahead of this weekend’s Premier League visit of Burnley to the Emirates Stadium.
“We have many players who can play in this position.”
