With Liverpool dropping further points, Arsenal gained an advantage in the Premier League title race alongside Manchester City being the hot favourites. The Gunners are atop the points table with 77 points after 36 rounds of play.
Mikel Arteta’s side punished Chelsea by 5-0 in the previous game and would look to repeat the heroics when they take on Tottenham Hotspurs this weekend. The game will be played at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Hence, it won’t be an easy fixture.
4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup Vs Tottenham Hotspur
Defence
David Raya remains the first-choice goalkeeper for Arsenal. He managed to keep a clean sheet against Chelsea and will look to do the same this week. Ben White dropped a superb performance against Chelsea and should be retained as the right full-back.
The centre-back duo of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes also remains intact. The outcome of the game will very much depend on how these two perform. Takehiro Tomiyasu is also likely to continue as the left-back given his defensive abilities.
Midfield
Boss Mikel Arteta has no reason to alter anyone in the midfield trio of Thomas Partey, Declan Rice, and Martin Odegaard. All these were brilliant against the Blues and will take them onto the field once again.
Attack
While Kai Havertz operates in the middle, Bukayo Saka is an automatic pick in the lineup. However, Leandro Trossard’s position will be challenged by Gabriel Jesus alongside Eddie Nketiah and Emile Smith Rowe.
Jurrien Timber is likely to return to the squad after recovering from a major knee injury. But it’s no-brainer that he won’t be starting the game. He might be used in the second half depending upon the situation of the game.
