Bayern Munich are all set to host Arsenal at the Allianz Arena in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final. They recently beat KoIn 2-0 in the domestic league and it will surely give them some confidence ahead of the big night on Wednesday.
The Bundesliga side are having one of their worst seasons ever as they have already given up on the league title. However, they can still make it a productive campaign if they manage to get their hands on the UCL trophy. For that, they first need to overpower the in-form Gunners at home to secure the semi-final berth.
4-2-3-1 Bayern Munich Predicted Lineup Vs Arsenal
Defence
Manuel Neuer is in line to return between the sticks for Arsenal challenge. He was given a rest against KoIn to keep him fresh for the big night. Joshua Kimmich has done well at the right-back position and there’s no doubt over his selection.
Eric Dier and Matthijs de Ligt are likely to form the heart of the defence. The centre-back duo did well in the first leg and will aim to do even better to help the side register a victory. Left full-back Alphonso Davies is suspended for the clash and Raphael Guerreiro is front-runner to fill his spot.
Midfield
Konrad Laimer and Leon Goretzka are likely to be the holding midfielders in the lineup. While Jamal Musiala operates in the middle, Leroy Sane continues to be deployed on the right flank. The latter has a fitness concern but should be fine to start the game.
Serge Gnabry picked up a hamstring injury in the first leg and will miss the reverse fixture. Veteran attacker Thomas Muller is expected to play on the left wing.
Attack
Harry Kane remains the undisputed striker in the lineup. He has been in good form and will be desperate to find the back of the net.
Kingsley Coman is another notable absentee as he picked up a groin injury in the previous game.
