Tottenham Hotspur will face off against West Ham United at the London Stadium this Tuesday night as they try to secure all three points on the road in the London derby. Spurs earned a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Luton Town recently which should keep them in good spirits ahead of this game.
Angelos Postecoglu will set his players up in a 4-3-3 formation and could make a couple of changes to his first team for this clash. Both Micky van de Ven and Brennan Johnson are expected to play from the start of this game.
4-3-3 Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup To Face West Ham United
Defence
Guglielmo Vicario will play in goal for Tottenham after conceding one goal in his last league appearance. Cristian Romero will function alongside Micky van de Ven at the centre of Spurs’ backline as they try to keep the opposition at bay during the 90 minutes.
Pedro Porro will continue to feature as the right-back while Destiny Udogie hopes to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to get forward and express themselves in the opponent’s half.
Ben Davies will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
James Maddison, Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr will make up Tottenham’s midfield. Their focus would be to get a stranglehold in the game in the middle of the park. All three of them need to be at their best if Tottenham are to come away with maximum points from the London Stadium in midweek.
Giovani Lo Celso and Rodrigo Bentancur will have to be content with a spot on the bench as they wait for their opportunity to impress in the second half if required.
Attack
Brennan Johnson will operate as the left-sided wide player while Dejan Kulusevski hopes to make a difference on the right flank. Heung-min Son will spearhead Tottenham’s attack in the final third. He would be eager to find the back of the net after netting the match-winner versus Luton Town recently.
Richarlison and Timo Werner will be named on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages of the game if Spurs are in need of a goal by then.
