4-3-3 Newcastle United Predicted Lineup Vs Chelsea
Defence
Martin Dubravka made a couple of saves against Wolves and kept a clean sheet. He will be seen between the sticks again and will aim at repeating the same this weekend. Swedish defender Emil Krafth to walk into the XI as right-back Kieran Trippier suffered an injury.
The centre-back duo of Fabian Schar and Sven Botman remains their spot in the side. Their role will be crucial in stopping the dangerous attacking line of Chelsea. No new face in the left-back position as Dan Burn retains his place.
Midfield
Defensive midfield Bruno Guimaraes will pair up with Joe Willock and Sean Longstaff to form the trio. However, Longstaff didn’t have a good impression last week and would like to have a better impact on the course of the game.
Attack
While Anthony Gordon operates on the left wing, Jacob Murphy will be deployed on the right flank. Alexander Isak continues to remain the striker of the side in the absence of Callum Wilson. The trio enjoyed a good time against Wolves and will carry momentum behind them. It will be interesting to see how they perform against the Blues’ defenders.
Skipper Kieran Trippier will not be available for selection due to a calf injury. Other notable absentees are Nick Pope, Joelinton, Sandro Tonali and Matt Targett.
