Manchester City entertained Copenhagen at the Etihad Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure a win at home in the UEFA Champions League. The Mancunian outfit made a great start to the game and took the lead in the fifth minute thanks to Manuel Akanji’s effort. Julian Alvarez doubled Man City’s advantage just four minutes later before Mohamed Elyounoussi got a goal back for Copenhagen in the 29th minute. Erling Haaland made it 3-1 to the home team in the first half injury-time as Pep Guardiola‘s men went into the half-time interval 3-1 up on the scoreline.
Man City managed the game well in the second half and cruised to an impressive 3-1 win at the Etihad. The Premier League ended up winning the tie by an aggregate 6-2 scoreline.
