In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Newcastle United are prepared to step up their chase of Juventus winger Federico Chiesa. It has been stated that the Magpies are open to intensifying their efforts to bring the Italian wide player to St. James’ Park in the summer.

Chiesa has managed to prove his worth at times on the left side of Juve’s defence this season but has struggled to be consistent with his productivity in front of the opponent’s goal. The 26-year-old has found the back of the net six times and earned two assists in 22 matches for the Turin outfit during this campaign across various competitions.
The Italian sensation has been decent contributor in the final third as he is averaging 2.0 shots, 1.5 key passes and 1.1 dribbles per 90 minutes in Serie A.
