Real Madrid will clash heads with Valencia at the Mestalla Stadium this Saturday night as they look to secure all three points on their travels in La Liga. Los Blancos managed to earn a narrow 1-0 over Sevilla recently, so they would be full of confidence ahead of this game.
Carlo Ancelotti will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to keep changes to a minimum for this game. Thus, Rodrygo will once again lead the line for the Madrid outfit on the offensive end of the pitch.
4-3-3 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup To Face Valencia
Defence
Andriy Lunin will operate in between the sticks for the Madrid club after keeping a clean sheet in his last outing. Antonio Rudiger will play alongside Nacho at the centre of Ancelotti’s defence as they try to keep the Valencia attackers quiet during the 90 minutes.
Lucas Vazquez will continue to play as the right-back while Ferland Mendy tries to give a good account of himself on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join on the attack.
Fran Garcia will offer cover for the left-back position on the bench.
Midfield
Toni Kroos, Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde will make up Real Madrid’s midfield as they focus on establishing their dominance over the opposition at the centre of the park. All three of them need to move the ball well if they want to create enough chances for Los Blancos to win this game.
Luka Modric will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to influence the game in the second half if required.
Attack
Vinicius Jr. will feature as the left-sided wide player while Brahim Diaz hopes to put in a good performance on the right-wing. Rodrygo will lead the charge for the Madrid outfit in the final third. He would have to carry most of the goal-scoring burden for Los Blancos up top.
Arda Guler and Alvaro Rodriguez will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if Real Madrid are in need of a goal by then.
