Everton will travel to Falmer Stadium to lock horns with Brighton in the Premier League this weekend. It will be a clash to watch out with both sides putting on their everything to take down the opponents. Both teams are desperate for a win and will leave no stone unturned.
From the toffees’ point of view, they will be eager to add three points to climb the ladders and avoid the relegation mark. They are 17th in the points table with 20 points equaling Luton Town, who sits at the 18th position. However, the goal difference factor is in favour of Everton.
4-4-1-1 Everton Predicted Lineup Vs Brighton
Defence
Jordan Pickford will line up in the goal for Everton. He had to sweat hard against Crystal Palace to not only save goals but also distribute long passes. With no major errors, he did a nice job.
Captain Seamus Coleman missed the previous clash due to illness but will be available for Saturday’s game. He will replace Ben Godfrey, who did well in his absence at the right-back position.
James Tarkowski and Jarrad Branthwaite will continue to operate in the centre-back position. Vitaliy Mykolenko, on the other hand, will retain his left-back position after an impressive display of performance.
Midfield
Manager Sean Dyche is expected to make a couple of changes in the midfield. While James Garner and Dwight McNeil are expected to be retained, Ashley Young and Idrissa Gueye are likely to be replaced by Jack Harrison and Amadou Onana. Fortunately, it will be a tactical decision and not a forced one due to injury concerns.
Everton’s top scorer Abdoulaye Doucoure will also start the game. His return wasn’t impressive and he would be eager to get back into form.
Attack
Abdoulaye Doucoure will lead the attacking unit for his side. Although he didn’t score in the previous game, his contribution cannot be ignored. He was physically imposing himself in the aerial duels.
