Everton faced off against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a win on the road in the Premier League. The Toffees made a decent start to the game and managed to get to the half-time break with a 0-0 scoreline.
The Merseyside club finally conceded the opening goal in the 71st minute when Erling Haaland scored with a powerful strike. Haaland doubled Man City’s lead in the 85th minute as Everton crashed to a tough 2-0 loss away from home.
