Chelsea faced off against Aston Villa at Villa Park earlier tonight as they looked to secure a victory on the road in the FA Cup. The Blues made a bright start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 11th minute when Conor Gallagher got his name on the scoresheet. Nicolas Jackson doubled his team’s lead just ten minutes later as Mauricio Pochettino’s men went into the half-time interval 2-0 up on the scoreline.
Enzo Fernandez killed the game off in the 54th minute which left the home team with a mountain to climb. Moussa Diaby grabbed a late consolation goal for the Villans as the contest ended with the Blues earning an impressive 3-1 win away from home.
