Arsenal will clash heads with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground this Tuesday night as they look to secure all three points on the road in the Premier League. The Gunners managed to earn a dominant 5-0 win over Crystal Palace recently which should give them a lot of confidence ahead of this game.
Mikel Arteta will set his side up in a 4-3-3 formation and could name a strong first XI for this game. Gabriel Martinelli will get a chance to play from the start of this contest while Leandro Trossard makes way for him and drops to the bench.
4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup To Face Nottingham Forest
Defence
David Raya will function in between the sticks for the Gunners after securing a clean sheet in his last league outing. Gabriel will continue to operate alongside William Saliba at the centre of Arteta’s defence as they look to keep the home team at bay during the game.
Ben White will keep his spot at right-back while Oleksandr Zinchenko looks to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to get forward and express themselves in the opponent’s half.
Jakub Kiwior will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Kai Havertz, Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard will once again make up Arsenal’s midfield. Their main focus would be to dominate the ball and engineer some clear-cut chances for the Gunners to win this clash at the City Ground.
Jorginho will have to settle for a spot on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.
Attack
Gabriel Martinelli will try to impress on the left flank while Bukayo Saka hopes to give a good account of himself as the right-sided wide player. Gabriel Jesus will lead the line for the North London giants in the final third. The Brazilian striker would be eager to get his name on the scoresheet against Nottingham this Tuesday night.
Eddie Nketiah and Leandro Trossard will be available for selection on the bench as they wait for their chance to influence the game in the latter stages if needed.
