Barcelona faced off against Real Madrid in Saudi Arabia earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a victory in the Spanish Super Cup final. The Brazilian doubled his team’s lead just three minutes later before Robert Lewandowski got a goal back for Barca in the 33rd minute. Vini Jr. scored again for the Madrid club just six minutes later as the Catalan club trailed 3-1 at the half-time interval.
Rodrygo put the match to bed in the 64th minute before Ronald Araujo was sent off in the 71st minute. Xavi’s men ended up suffering a disappointing 4-1 loss in the Spanish Super Cup.
