Aston Villa clashed heads with Everton at Goodison Park earlier today as they looked to earn a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Villans made a decent start to the game but were held to a goalless scoreline at the half-time break.
The West Midlands club pushed on in search of the winner in the second half but had to settle for a lackluster 0-0 draw away from home.

He made a couple of solid saves at the back and earned a comfortable clean sheet today.
RB: Ezri Konsa – 6.5/10
Konsa performed his defensive duties well and made one good run with the ball.
CB: Diego Carlos – 6.5/10
He earned the ball back once and was accurate with his passing.
CB: Clement Lenglet – 7.5/10
Lenglet put his foot through the ball when needed and earned the ball back twice during the game. He won his fair share of aerial duels as well.
LB: Alex Moreno – 7/10
The Spaniard caught the eye at times in both halves but was a bit wasteful with his passing.
RW: Leon Bailey – 6.5/10
He made one good chance in the final third but was replaced after the hour mark.
CM: Boubacar Kamara – 7/10
Kamara was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch.
CM: Douglas Luiz – 7/10
He protected his backline well. Luiz also made some driving runs with the ball from midfield.
LW: John McGinn – 7/10
McGinn made a few energetic runs with the ball but failed to find the back of the net.
ST: Ollie Watkins – 6/10
Watkins was a constant menace up top but struggled to finish off his chances.
ST: Moussa Diaby – 6.5/10
He caused some problems for the opposition defenders but failed to get his name on the scoresheet.
