Anthony Gordon put Newcastle ahead with a great strike just two minutes later as the Magpies went into the half-time break 2-1 up on the scoreline.
Kevin de Bruyne equalised for Man City in the 74th minute before Oscar Bobb completed the turnaround for the visitors in injury-time with a good finish. The match ended with Eddie Howe’s men suffering a tough 3-2 defeat in front of their home supporters.
