Jadon Sancho is back in Borussia Dortmund after being loaned out by Manchester United. This is due to several issues. Even though he is on loan, Manchester United will contribute to his salary. He moved to Manchester United from Dortmund in August 2021 for a large fee, although he didn’t play much owing to issues with the manager.
Jadon Sancho on returning to Borussia Dortmund
Dortmund announced Jadon Sancho is back with them on loan until the season ends. He left Manchester United because of problems with the manager. Sancho used to play for Dortmund for three years before joining Manchester United.
In September, he said on social media that the club blamed him for their bad performance, and he was left out of a match they lost to Arsenal. After that, he didn’t play for Manchester United and had to train separately from the main team. Even before he had problems with Ten Hag, he didn’t play as well as expected for the money they paid for him. He only scored 12 times in 82 games and had a hard time being a regular player under both Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ten Hag. Now, he hopes going back to the club where he became famous as a rising star in Europe will help make his career better.
“When I came into the dressing room today, it felt like ‘coming home’. I can’t wait to see my team mates again, go out on the pitch, play football with a smile on my face, prepare goals, score goals and help qualify for the Champions League,” Sancho said.

While he was playing for Dortmund, he scored 50 goals and assisted 64 goals in 137 games.
Dortmund will need the 23-year-old to help them do well this season. Right now, the team is in fifth place in the league, and they’re 15 points behind the team at the top, Bayer Leverkusen.
