Frank Leboeuf slams Noni Madueke
Former Chelsea player Frank Leboeuf criticized Noni Madueke for not playing well against Middlesbrough. He also mentioned that the whole Chelsea team seemed a bit confused during the match. Chelsea unexpectedly lost 1-0 in the first leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final, and they’ll face pressure in the second leg at Stamford Bridge. Middlesbrough, led by former Manchester United midfielder Michael Carrick, proved they are a strong team and won’t be easy to beat.
Leboeuf didn’t like how Chelsea played, especially pointing out one mistake by Madueke. During the game, Madueke passed the ball into an empty area, and Leboeuf, who was commenting on ESPN, thought this showed a lack of understanding of the game. He compared it to when he played football in his hometown as a child, saying he hadn’t seen such a mistake since then.
“Madueke at one point, he made the cross where we could see there was no Chelsea player in the 16-yard box. But he made it. The last time I saw that I was 14 years old in my village where you don’t know what to do with the ball so you cross it and you don’t care about it. The guy is a professional player, it means he crossed by instinct, he doesn’t know what he does, he does not inform himself on what he has to do. That is absolutely appalling,” Leboeuf said.

“It’s not just him, they are all the same. It is amazing,” he added.
Chelsea fans might worry about this because Madueke hasn’t played well since he joined the club from PSV in January. He needs to do much better.
