When Chelsea signed Cole Palmer from Manchester City on the last day of the transfer window, it didn’t seem like a big deal. Chelsea had spent a lot of money on new players in the last two years, so it was difficult to predict Palmer, who had yet to show himself, fitting in with Mauricio Pochettino’s club. But, after a few months, Palmer has emerged as Chelsea’s most important player. He’s demonstrated this by performing admirably in many games for his new squad this season. Troy Deeney recently complimented him as well.

Troy Deeney has talked about how great Cole Palmer from Chelsea is. The first part of the season was a bit tough for Chelsea, with results going up and down. But there’s one player at Stamford Bridge who is doing really well right now.
Palmer, who is only 21 years old, is playing much better than most of his teammates every week. He’s a left-footed attacking midfielder and has scored eight goals and made six assists in 19 games for Chelsea this season. Also, since he came from Manchester City in the summer, people have noticed that he has a great potential.
Troy Deeney said that Cole Palmer is one of the young players to keep an eye on in 2024. He also gave him a big compliment by saying that the creative player is already one of the very best players in the world.
“Not only is this guy one of the best in England right now, but I will expand that and say one of the best on the planet. He is that good. Punters said he made a mistake leaving his boyhood Manchester City in the summer in a shock £42.5million switch after winning it all at such a young age,” Palmer said.

“But the young man has proven to be worth every penny of his price tag, and does not look fazed in the slightest. I am certain he is going to have another amazing year in a Chelsea shirt, with the Euros also on the horizon…” he added.
Chelsea was very lucky to get Palmer from Man City. If Mauricio Pochettino’s team wants to get better in the second part of the season, Palmer will probably be very important for scoring goals and being creative in attack.
