Many people thought Paul Pogba was a great football player with a promising future not long ago. However, when he transferred from Juventus to Manchester United for a large fee in 2016, things did not go as planned. Later, in 2022, he returned to Juventus, but he became injured and was unable to perform to his full potential. His football career is now in jeopardy. We learned in September that the Italian anti-doping organization had provisionally suspended him. The 30-year-old failed a drug test after Juventus defeated Udinese 3-0 on August 20, 2023. They discovered a type of testosterone in the test that the body does not produce naturally. Even though he had a difficult time at Manchester United, he did have some lighter moments as well.
Jesse Lingard once imitated Paul Pogba
Paul Pogba was included in the squad to face RB Leipzig at Old Trafford in the Champions League back in 2020. But his teammate Jesse Lingard was left out of the squad by manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
When he was not available, Lingard kept himself busy making his teammates laugh. Lingard and Pogba were good friends, and Lingard did a funny imitation of Pogba at Carrington, making Pogba laugh a lot.

Sadly, Pogba did not enjoy much success at Manchester United and went back to Juventus where his career took a turn for the worse.
Pogba is now suspended for breaking the anti-doping rules, said Italy’s National Antidoping Tribunal (NADO) on September 11, 2023. They checked Pogba after his team beat Udinese on August 20, but he didn’t play in that game. The test found too much testosterone, a hormone that helps athletes go longer without getting tired.
It’s not known yet how long Pogba might be banned if the case goes to trial. FIFA rules say players can get banned for two or four years, but they can appeal or get a shorter punishment if they prove they didn’t mean to break the rules. If the National Anti-Doping Tribunal gives Pogba a ban, Juventus could cancel his contract. Right now, Pogba makes about £170k per week, and his contract is supposed to end in the summer of 2026.
