Real Madrid will clash heads with Arandina at the Estadio El Montecillo this Saturday night as they try to secure a good result in the Copa del Rey. Los Blancos secured a narrow 1-0 win over Mallorca recently which should give them some confidence ahead of this cup game.
Carlo Ancelotti will set his team up in a 4-2-2-2 formation and could make some changes to his first XI for this clash. Brahim Diaz, Arda Guler and Joselu are all expected to play from the start of this game.
4-2-2-2 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup To Face Arandina
Defence
Kepa Arrizabalaga will operate in goal for Los Blancos as he looks to keep a clean sheet on the road. Alvaro Carrillo could get a chance to impress alongside Nacho at the centre of Ancelotti’s defence as they try to keep things solid at the back during the game.
Lucas Vazquez will get the nod to operate at right-back while Fran Garcia hopes to catch the eye on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to get forward and express themselves in the opponent’s half.
Antonio Rudiger will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Nico Paz and Dani Ceballos will play as the holding midfielders for the Madrid giants as they look to establish their superiority over the opposition at the centre of the park.
Arda Guler and Luka Modric will operate as Ancelotti’s attacking midfielders in the opponent’s half. Both of them would have to carry most of the creative workload for the visitors up top.
Toni Kroos and Federico Valverde will be rested on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.
Attack
Joselu and Brahim Diaz will spearhead Real Madrid’s attack in the final third. Both of them need to be at their best if Los Blancos are to secure a convincing win in this Cope del Rey clash this weekend.
Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if the Madrid outfit are in need of a goal by then.
