Crystal Palace are reportedly have made a bid for Arsenal right back Carl Jenkinson. The 24 year old hasn’t been utilised much by Arsene Wenger this season.
Jenkinson has been in demand as a number of clubs are interested in roping in the defender. Sam Allardyce who took charge of Crystal Palace few days ago wants a reunion with one of his trusted players.
The ex-England manager had the experience of working with him at West Ham United and wants the player to plug the gap in his defence.
Arsenal might be interested in a loan deal for the defender but Allardyce wants a permanent deal and ready to offer £3m for the right back. Jenkinson has 18 months left on his contract and his future with the Gunners seems unpredictable.
With Hector Bellerin the automatic choice on the right side of the defence, Jenkinson has been struggling at the Emirates and might consider a move out from the club.
