Manchester United will lock horns with West Ham United at the London Stadium this Saturday as they look to secure all three points on the road in the Premier League. The Red Devils managed to grind out a 0-0 draw away at Liverpool recently which should give them some confidence ahead of this game.
Erik ten Hag will opt for the 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a couple of changes to his first XI for this clash. Both Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Bruno Fernandes will get a chance to play from the start of this contest versus the Hammers.
4-2-3-1 Manchester United Predicted Lineup To Face West Ham United
Defence
Andre Onana will play in between the sticks for the Mancunian side after keeping a clean sheet in his last league outing. Raphael Varane will once again function alongside Jonny Evans at the centre of ten Hag’s defence as they try to keep the opposition at bay throughout the 90 minutes.
As mentioned earlier, Aaron Wan-Bissaka will get an opportunity to impress as the right-back while Luke Shaw hopes to catch the eye on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will have to perform their defensive duties well if Man United are to come out on top this weekend.
Diogo Dalot is suspended for this game. However, Sergio Reguilon will provide cover for the left-back position on the bench.
Midfield
Kobbie Mainoo and Sofyan Amrabat will operate as the holding midfielders as they focus on winning the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park. The talented trio of Alejandro Garnacho, Bruno Fernandes and Antony will get a chance to shine just ahead of them as part of Man United’s attack.
Fernandes missed the game against Liverpool due to suspension and would be eager to make a difference for the Red Devils at the London Stadium this Saturday.
Scott McTominay will have to be content with a spot on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if required.
Attack
Rasmus Hojlund will lead the charge for the Mancunian giants on the attacking end of the pitch. He has to find a way to threaten the West Ham goal during the 90 minutes.
Anthony Martial is a slight concern ahead of this game but should be fit to start on the bench.
