Newcastle United will welcome Fulham at St. James’ Park this Saturday afternoon as they focus on collecting maximum points from this Premier League clash. The Magpies suffered a disappointing 2-1 loss at the hands of AC Milan recently, so they would be eager to bounce back with a win this weekend.
Eddie Howe will opt for the 4-3-3 formation and could be inclined to name a strong first team for this game. Alexander Isak will lead the charge for the Tyneside giants on the offensive end of the field.
4-3-3 Newcastle United Predicted Lineup To Face Fulham
Defence
Martin Dubravka will feature in goal for Newcastle after conceding a couple of goals in his last league appearance. Jamaal Lascelles will get a chance to impress alongside Fabian Schar at the centre of Howe’s defence as they try to keep a good defensive shape at the back during the game.
Tino Livramento will fill in as the right-back while Dan Burn hopes to put in a good performance on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Kieran Trippier is suspended for this game. However, Paul Dummett should be available for a place on the bench as he provides cover for the defensive positions.
Midfield
Howe will name a midfield three of Joelinton, Bruno Guimaraes and Sean Longstaff as they look to dictate the tempo of the game in the opponent’s half. All three of them need to find a way to establish their superiority over the opposition at the centre of the park.
Lewis Miley will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the second half if needed.
Attack
Anthony Gordon is a slight concern ahead of this game but could get the nod to start on the left wing. Miguel Almiron will try to make a difference for Newcastle on the right flank. Alexander Isak will lead the line for the Tyneside outfit down the middle.
Callum Wilson will have to settle for a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the final quarter if the Magpies are in need of a goal by then.
