Arsenal clashed heads with PSV Eindhoven at the Phillips Stadion earlier this evening as they looked to earn all three points on the road in the UEFA Europa League. The Gunners made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 42nd minute when Eddie Nketiah got his name on the scoresheet. Mikel Arteta‘s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Yorbe Vertessen equalised for the home team in the 50th minute. Arsenal failed to come up with the winning goal and had to settle for a 1-1 draw away from home.

He did his fair share of defending and had a lively game in the opponent’s half.
CM: Mohamed Elneny – 6/10
Elneny struggled to get a foothold in the game and was unfortunate to hit the post.
CM: Jorginho – 7/10
He anchored the midfield well and made some inviting chances for his teammates to score.
CM: Kai Havertz – 6/10
Havertz made one good run with the ball and was substituted in the 88th minute.
RW: Reiss Nelson – 8.5/10
He made a few excellent runs with the ball and engineered two key chances in the final third. Nelson ended the game with an assist to his name.
ST: Eddie Nketiah – 7.5/10
Nketiah was a constant menace in the final third and managed to get his name on the scoresheet in the latter stages of the first half.
LW: Leandro Trossard – 6.5/10
He proved his worth at times but failed to register a goal.
