Tottenham Hotspur entertained West Ham United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure all three points in the London derby. Spurs made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 11th minute thanks to Cristian Romero’s excellent header. Angelos Postecoglu’s men went into the half-time interval 1-0 up on the scoreline.
However, Tottenham conceded the equaliser in the 52nd minute when Jarrod Bowen found the back of the net. James Ward-Prowse ended up netting the winning goal for West Ham in the 74th minute. The home team failed to come up with a response and crashed to a 2-1 defeat in front of their home fans.
