Barcelona entertained Atletico Madrid at the Nou Camp earlier tonight as they looked to secure a victory at home in La Liga. The Catalan club made a good start to the game and scored the opening goal in the 28th minute when Joao Felix found the back of the net. Xavi’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 to the good.

Barca sat on their lead well in the second 45 minutes and managed to grind out a narrow 1-0 win in front of their home fans.

LB: Joao Cancelo – 7/10

Cancelo did his fair share of defending and was lively in the opponent’s half.

CM: Frenkie de Jong – 7/10

He anchored the midfield relatively well and made one decent run with the ball.

CM: Ilkay Gundogan – 7.5/10

The German midfielder earned possession back twice and engineered some inviting chances for his teammates in the final third.

He managed to orchestrate a few meaningful openings for others around him and made two driving runs with the ball.

RW: Raphinha – 7.5/10

Raphinha caused a lot of headaches for the opposition and picked up an assist for setting up Felix’s match-winner.

The Polish striker made some clever runs with the ball but lacked quality in front of the opposition goal.
