Barcelona entertained Deportivo Alaves at the Nou Camp earlier today as they looked to secure maximum points at home in La Liga. The Catalan club made a sloppy start to the game as they conceded the opening goal in the first minute when Samu Omorodion found the back of the net. Xavi’s men failed to find a response and went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.
Robert Lewandowski equalised for the home team in the 53rd minute before going on to score the winning goal from the penalty spot in the 78th minute. The contest ended with Barcelona securing a narrow 2-1 win at the Nou Camp.
