Arsenal midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain revealed his thoughts on new signing Cohen Bramall. Bramall has been signed from non-league side Hednesford Town.
Bramall impressed Arsene Wenger in a trial and the Gunners boss immediately decided him to offer him a contract. Chamberlain was also similarly signed from Southampton as an 18-year kid and went on to become a first-team player for Arsenal.
Arsenal reportedly paid a meagre £40,000 to secure the service of the left back. He will provide a stiff competition to Nacho Monreal and Kieran Gibbs but it is too early to predict the future.
Chamberlain said, “I was training on the side of the pitch with the fitness coach so I was looking over and then I saw him training.
“I asked someone about him and they me a story and obviously it made me think wow.
To be where he was a couple of weeks ago, and then to be training with the Arsenal first team, I was thinking he must be in dreamland over there.
“I paid close attention to him and saw some really good signs of things – you can see why we wanted to sign him
“It was great, and then I chatted to him after training and he was just a really good lad and a top boy.”
