West Ham United faced off against Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium earlier today as they hoped to earn a win on the road. The Hammers made a poor start to the game and conceded the opener in the 11th minute when Neal Maupay found the back of the net. However, Mohammed Kudus equalised for West Ham in the 19th minute before Jarrod Bowen completed the turnaround for West Ham in the 26th minute. David Moyes’ men went into the half-time break 2-1 up on the scoreline.
Konstantinos Mavropanos scored an unfortunate own goal in the 55th minute before Nathan Collins gave the home team the lead in the 69th minute. The match ended with West Ham suffering a lackluster 3-2 loss away from home.

He made a lot of crucial clearances inside his half but it was not enough today.

He did his fair share of defending and had one bright moment in the opponent’s half.

Kudus was a constant menace in the final third and managed to find the back of the net in the 19th minute.

He struggled to give a good account of himself at the centre of the park.

Soucek failed to offer enough protection for his teammates at the back.

He struggled to cause problems for his marker and produced an uneventful display on the left flank.

Bowen made two decent chances in the final third and managed to get his name on the scoresheet in the 26th minute.

Antonio caused some problems for the opponent’s defenders and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
