West Ham United entertained Everton at the London Stadium earlier today as they looked to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Hammers were solid in the first half but went into the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.
The East London conceded the opening goal in the 51st minute when Dominic Calvert-Lewin found the back of the net. West Ham failed to mount a comeback and crashed to a 1-0 defeat in front of their home fans.

He made a few important saves at the back but failed to keep a clean sheet.

Coufal did his fair share of defending but his efforts were not enough in the end.

The French talent made a few crucial clearances on the defensive end of the pitch.

He did his best to keep things solid inside his half but failed to secure the shutout.
LB: Aaron Cresswell – 6/10
He made two important clearances at the back and engineered one good chance from the left flank.
CM: Edson Alvarez – 6.5/10
Alvarez caught the eye at times at both ends of the field.
CM: James Ward-Prowse – 6.5/10
He made a few inviting chances in the final third.
RW: Jarrod Bowen – 6.5/10
Bowen caught the eye at times but didn’t do enough to register a goal.
CAM: Mohammed Kudus – 6.5/10
He made a few driving runs with the ball but there was no goal for him.
LW: Lucas Paqueta – 6.5/10
The Brazilian talent caused some problems for the Everton defenders. However, Paqueta has got nothing to show for his efforts.
ST: Michail Antonio – 6/10
Antonio was quiet for most of his time on the field.
