In a recent report, Defensa Central claimed that Real Madrid ace Aurelien Tchouameni is gathering interest from Bayern Munich. It has been stated that the Bavarian club are hoping to sign the French midfielder from Los Blancos even though the player is under a long-term contract.
Tchouameni’s Impressive Run In Spanish Football
Tchouameni is having a decent campaign at the Madrid club as he has served as an important member of Carlo Ancelotti’s squad. The French sensation has played in 11 matches for Los Blancos this season, scoring one goal in the process in all competitions.
The 23-year-old has been a consistent performer at the centre of Real Madrid’s midfield based on his average of 2.0 tackles, 1.2 interceptions, 1.3 clearances, 1.1 shots and 0.6 key passes in the top tier of Spanish football (stats via whoscored).
His current contract at the Madrid club will run out in the summer of 2028. Hence, Real Madrid are under no pressure to sell him even if Bayern Munich decide to move in for him next year.
Can Real Madrid Afford To Lose Tchouameni?
Tchouameni is a solid tackler of the ball and can read the danger well to secure the ball back for his team in the middle of the park. He doesn’t mind putting his foot through the ball when the opposition are on the front foot and can even make a handful of solid runs with the ball from midfield.
The France international can even shoot the ball with venom from long range and has got the eye to play a few decisive passes on the attacking end of the pitch. He has already won three major trophies during his time in the Spanish capital and is now destined to have a bright future ahead.
Tchouameni is currently a valuable asset in Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti’s match-day squad. Hence, Los Blancos simply cannot afford to lose a player of the French midfield enforcer’s quality this January or at the end of this season.
The Madrid outfit would be better off keeping hold of Tchouameni’s services for the long run as he has what it takes to help bring more success back to Santiago Bernabeu Stadium over the next decade.
