Liverpool will lock horns with Brighton and Hove Albion at the American Express Community Stadium this Sunday as they hope to earn all three points on the road in the Premier League. The Reds suffered an unfortunate 2-1 loss away at Tottenham Hotspur in their last league outing, so they would be eager to right the wrongs versus the Seagulls this weekend.
Jurgen Klopp will once again opt for a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to name a strong first XI for this game. Both Mohamed Salah and Alexis Mac Allister will get a chance to play from the start of this clash away at Brighton.
4-3-3 Liverpool Predicted Lineup To Face Brighton
Defence
Alisson Becker will feature in between the sticks for the Reds as he looks to put in another impressive display in the Premier League. Virgil Van Dijk will play alongside Joel Matip at the centre of the Liverpool backline as they try to keep things solid on the defensive end of the field.
Joe Gomez will fill in as the right-back while Andrew Robertson looks to put in another energetic display on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them would have to perform their defensive duties well if the Merseyside club are to stand a chance of securing a clean sheet at the Amex this weekend.
Ibrahima Konate and Trent Alexander-Arnold will have to settle for a spot on the bench as they offer cover for the defensive positions.
Midfield
Alexis Mac Allister, Wataru Endo and Dominik Szoboszlai will try to give a good account of themselves at the centre of the park. All three of them need to move the ball well and engineer some clear-cut chances for the Reds to win this contest.
Curtis Jones is suspended for this game. However, Harvey Elliott and Ryan Gravenberch will be named on the bench as they wait for their opportunity to make a difference in the second half if needed.
Attack
Luis Diaz will look to impress as the left-winger while Mohamed Salah hopes to weave his magic from the right. Darwin Nunez will lead the charge for the Merseyside club in the final third.
Diogo Jota is suspended for this game. Furthermore, Cody Gakpo might be sidelined for this game due to a knee injury.
