Richarlison To Play From The Start | 4-2-3-1 Tottenham Hotspur Predicted XI Vs Luton Town

Luton Town will be welcoming Tottenham Hotspur to Kenilworth Road for the early kickoff on Saturday, with the possibility of the visitors reaching the top of the table if they secure a victory. In their midweek match, the Hatters suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Burnley, whereas Spurs managed to overcome Liverpool with the same score line, thanks to a widely-discussed VAR decision.

Angelos Postecoglu will opt for a 4-2-3-1 formation and could make a few changes to his starting XI for this game. Richarlison will get a chance to play from the start in the attacking third.

Defence

Guglielmo Vicario will operate in goal for Spurs after shipping in one goal in his last Premier League outing. Cristian Romero will play alongside Micky van de Ven at the heart of Tottenham’s backline as they look to keep the Luton Town forwards frustrated during the 90 minutes.

Pedro Porro will be a nailed-on starter at right-back while Destiny Udogie hopes to catch the eye on the other flank as the left-back. Postecoglu will ask both of them to keep things solid at the back and get forward to create opportunities in the front.

Ben Davies and Emerson Royal will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Midfield

Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr will operate as defensive midfielders as they look to make life tough for the Hatters at the centre of the park.

Maddison will have to carry most of the creative burden for Tottenham in the final third acting as the advanced attacking midfielder. Richarlison will try to give a good account of himself on the left flank while Dejan Kulusevski looks to weave his magic as the right-winger.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg will have to settle for a spot on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if needed.

Attack

Heung-min Son will lead the charge for the visitors in the final third. He scored against Liverpool last weekend which could give his confidence a boost ahead of this contest.

Brennan Johnson will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the latter stages if told to do so.
