Manchester City clashed heads with RB Leipzig at the Red Bull Arena earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a positive result on the road in the UEFA Champions League. The Mancunian club made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead thanks to Phil Foden’s effort in the 25th minute. Pep Guardiola‘s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Lois Openda equalised for Leipzig in the 48th minute. However, Julian Alvarez gave Man City the lead with a great finish in the 84th minute before Jeremy Doku killed the game off for them in injury time. The contest ended with Man City earning an impressive 3-1 win away in Germany.

Haaland caused all sorts of problems for the Leipzig defenders but there was no goal for him tonight.
