Newcastle United faced off against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane earlier this evening as they hoped to earn a good result on their travels. The Magpies made a quick start to the game and raced to a 3-0 lead after 35 minutes of football thanks to a goal each from Sean Longstaff, Dan Burn and Sven Botman respectively. Eddie Howe’s men went into the half-time break 3-0 up on the scoreline.
Callum Wilson scored his team’s fourth goal in the 56th minute before Anthony Gordon made it 5-0 just five minutes later. Miguel Almiron got his name on the scoresheet as well in the 68th minute before Bruno Guimaraes added another goal soon after. Alexander Isak joined the goal-scoring party in the 87th minute as Newcastle cruised to a dominant 8-0 win on the road.

The Brazilian talent was a constant menace in the final third and has got a goal and an assist to show for his efforts.

Anderson came back to defend when needed and managed to engineer a few promising chances for his teammates up top. He has got an assist to show for his efforts.

He used his pace well at times and managed to score in the 68th minute.

Wilson was a real handful for the Sheffield defenders and did well to register a goal in the 56th minute.

He was injured early in the game and was replaced in the 11th minute.
