Pope Gets 8.5, Burn With 8 | Newcastle United Players Rated In Hard-Fought Draw Vs AC Milan

Newcastle United clashed heads with AC Milan at San Siro earlier this evening as they looked to grind out a good result in the UEFA Champions League. The Magpies were solid in the first half and managed to get to the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.

Both sides canceled each other out in the second 45 minutes as the contest finished with a 0-0 scoreline.

Let’s take a look at how each Newcastle United player performed during the clash against AC Milan.

GK: Nick Pope – 8.5/10

The English keeper made a lot of important saves at the back and earned a well-deserved clean sheet at San Siro.

RB: Kieran Trippier – 7/10

He performed his defensive duties well and made one good chance in the final third.

CB: Fabian Schar – 6.5/10

Schar made a couple of crucial clearances at the back and did enough to secure a clean sheet this evening.

CB: Sven Botman – 6.5/10

He didn’t do much wrong at the back and would be glad about restricting the home team from scoring.
