Arsenal entertained Fulham at the Emirates Stadium earlier today as they hoped to earn a positive result in front of their home supporters. The Gunners made a sloppy start to the contest as they conceded the opening goal in the first minute when Andreas Pereira scored for the visitors. Mikel Arteta’s men failed to mount a comeback in the first half and were trailing 1-0 at half-time.
Arsenal came roaring back in the second half as Bukayo Saka scored from the penalty spot in the 70th minute before Eddie Nketiah completed the turnaround just two minutes later with a great finish. Fulham went down to ten men after Calvin Bassey was sent off. However, Arsenal conceded a late equaliser when Joao Palhinha scored with a solid effort.
