In a recent report, Fichajes mentioned that Real Madrid could move in for Bayern Munich starlet Jamal Musiala this summer. It is understood that Los Blancos are eyeing a move to land the German sensation in 2024.
Musiala’s Impressive Run Of Form In Bundesliga
Musiala produced plenty of productive performances as a key member of Bayern’s first XI in the previous campaign. The 20-year-old registered 16 goals and 16 assists in 47 appearances for the Bavarian club last season on all fronts.
The Stuttgart-born talent gave a good account of himself in the final third based on his average of 2.0 shots, 1.6 key passes and 2.3 dribbles per 90 minutes in the Bundesliga. He has even been excellent with his ball distribution after making 85.4% of his attempted passes in league football (stats via whoscored).
His current contract at the German club will run out in the summer of 2026. Hence, it won’t be easy for Los Blancos to sign for a reduced fee at the end of next season.
Is Musiala A Dream Option For Real Madrid Boss Carlo Ancelotti?
Musiala is a decent tackler of the ball and can shoot the ball with power and accuracy from long range. He is a technically gifted footballer who has proven his worth as a consistent performer in Bundesliga.
The German talent has got the vision to engineer a few decent chances in the final third and is an excellent dribbler with the ball as well. He is primarily an attacking midfielder but can also fill in as a left-winger or as a box-to-box midfielder if told to do so.
We can expect Musiala to add more quality to Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti’s midfield. He would even help the Madrid giants challenge for some major trophies over the next few years. However, only time will tell whether he can make a smooth transition to life in La Liga football.
At 20, Musiala is a generational talent and would be a dream option for Los Blancos to consider at the end of next season as he could prove himself to be a success story at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. Hence, Ancelotti would be wise to go all out to secure the services of the German talent next summer.
